“The Water Snake” Art Project, City of Kingston
About this project
Water Snake is an interactive installation designed by Toronto and Kingston-based RAW Architecture and Design, to “delight and engage” residents and visitors onKingston’s waterfront.
The installation features three distinct 3D-printed sculptural segments, fabricated and installed by nidus3D. In situ these segments offer seating and encourage play. It creates a place and proposes, animating an underdeveloped space, creating a new engaging way to enjoy the Kingston waterfront.
This project was funded by the Canada Community Revitalization Fund and has been commissioned by the City of Kingston and Tourism Kingston.
